PHP function_exists() function

This function is used to check the existence of a function.

Syntax

function_exists(functionname);

functionname is the required parameter. It returns true if the function exists, otherwise return false.

Example

    class Demo {
        function welcome {
            echo 'Welcome to India';
        }
    }
    if(function_exists(welcome)){
        echo 'Function exists';
    }
    else{
        echo 'Function does not exist';
    }
?>
