PHP ob_end_clean() function

This function is used to destroy the output buffer.

Syntax

ob_end_clean();

This function returns a boolean value true on successful discarded of the buffer data.

Example

<?php
    ob_start();
    echo $var = "Hello john";
    echo '<br/>';
    $data1 = ob_get_contents();
    echo $var1 = "How are you?";
    $data2 = ob_get_contents();
    ob_end_clean();
    var_dump($data1, $data2);
?>

Output -

string(15) "Hello john
" string(27) "Hello john
How are you?"
