Daily Greetings and Polite Conversation in English

The greetings and polite sentences are basic to get conversation started with friends, colleagues and strangers either face-to-face, through Skype, or over the phone. When we greeting someone in English, it is important to use the appropriate level of formal, informal, professional, or casual greetings. In this English lesson you will learn how to greet, introduce, say good bye and polite conversation to a person.
These are the most commonly used basic greetings that we generally used in our daily life to greet each other.
Formal and Informal Conversation
Before starting, we think it is important for you to know the difference between formal and informal conversation. Formal is more polite conversation, that we can use in office, with our elders, also with strangers. Informal is the casual and unofficial form of conversation. It is used when communicating with friends or family.These are the most commonly used basic greetings that we generally used in our daily life to greet each other.
