PHP getenv() function

This function is used to get the value of an environment variable. All the environment variables are defined in php.ini file.

Syntax

getenv(variable name);

The variable name is the required parameter. If this variable name does not exist on php.ini file, then it returns false.

    $admin = getenv("SERVER_ADMIN");
    echo $admin;
?>
